Georg Niehusmann has been working in the music business as a graduate sound engineer for over 40 years. He ran his own recording studio SONIC YARD for over 15 years, was a sound engineer at RTL-Television, produced countless CDs in the field of chamber music as a freelancer, accompanies the careers of many young musicians as a sound engineer at the Folkwang University of the Arts, and has been a sound director and producer for WDR for over 35 years.
Georg studied church music in Essen and sound engineering at the Robert Schumann University of Music/FH in Düsseldorf and ran his own recording studio in Düsseldorf for over 15 years. Georg has received several prizes and awards for his work as a producer. His education as a choir and orchestra conductor is an important element of his work. Also noteworthy are the new soundtracks for silent films that have been created over the years with the WDR Rundfunkorchester.
